Golf Ball Review – Titleist NXT Tour golf ball™

Posted on December 11th, 2009 in Titleist Golf Balls by admin  Tagged , , , , ,

Ball Reviewed:Titleist NXT TourDetails: Advanced, multi-layer construction, with a new Tour-proven, higher coverage dimple design and Staggered Wave Parting Line provide longer, more consistent distance. Summary:The Titleist NXT Tour golf balls provide optimum distance and spin properties. The soft feel of the golf ball aids in putting and ball striking. The sleek design and hardy cover enables the golf ball to be used for a whole round, without replacement. Pros: Like all the Titleist golf balls, they are an engineering marvel and every time i play with one they amaze me. As stated in the summary the Titleist NXT Tour golf balls provide the golfer with a moderately soft feeling golf ball which aids in putting and workability due to ball striking. they also have the tendancy, when hit right, to spin more than expected, which is a bonus if you have to stop the ball on quick and dry greens. The durablility of this golf ball is amazing, ive gone through numerous rounds with just one Titleist NXT Tour golf ball and at the end of each game, the ball shows minimal marks of play. Brilliant!!!. Cons: The only con i have with this ball is when i hit and it goes in the water. It’s my fault, but these balls ar they good, i hat when i loose them. Customer Service and Cost:I purchase these balls from my local golf club, Caboolture Golf Club for AUS $5 per ball. Five dollars per ball is a small price to pay for such a great ball. For price, even though i would prefer the Titleist Pro V1, i use the Titleist NXT Tour golf ball as the price is substanially lower. The customer service at Caboolture Golf Club is impeccable and i will always go back there. Similar Products Used:Precept X-treme and Bridgestone e-7+Rating (out of ten):9. 5

Nike’s Crush Golf Ball For Distance Lovers

Posted on December 6th, 2009 in Articles by admin  Tagged , , , , ,

Nike Golf has designed a new golf ball that provides explosive distance and powerful precision, and it has a name that is symbolic of its performance. The new Nike CRUSH ball is designed for golfers who are motivated by out driving everyone in their foursome and then owning their bragging rights. Aiding golfers to “crush” the ball, the Nike CRUSH combines a softer compression core, optimized cover design and new DMC Coating® to reduce unwanted side-spin and maximize ball velocity for straighter, longer distance. The larger and softer, high energy core provides high velocity and delivers unrivaled feel.

The Directional Micro-Composite Coating or DMC Coating® is the first of its kind; a smart coating that is designed to lower spin for driver shots that would normally slice or hook. “I believe we’ve done a great job designing a longer and straighter golf ball for a wide range of swing speeds at a mid-tier price, “said Rock Ishii, Director of Product Development for Nike Golf balls. “ CRUSH is a natural fit for those who love the game and want to continue to evolve as better golfers. ” Optimized for driver head speeds of 80-95 mph, the newly designed thin, two-piece ionomer blend cover enhances greenside feel and playability while increasing ball speed and maximizing distance off the tee.

The Nike CRUSH features a 312-dimple design that produces lift for longer carry and consistent ball flight. With bold, blue packaging and a name like Crush, it’s not hard to guess which group of golfers Nike Golf (Discount NIKE Golf Clubs) is trying to attract with its newest ball: players who want to outdrive everyone. Designed specifically for golfers with a swing speed between 80 and 95 miles per hour (the average for most weekend players), the Crush has a soft, low-compression core and an ionomer cover designed to reduce side spin for increased accuracy. Nike Golf’s director of product development for balls, said in a release, “I believe we’ve done a great job designing a longer and straighter golf ball for a wide range of swing speeds at a mid-tier price. ” The Nike Crush is available now for about $30 per dozen.
